It looks puffier
Cotton fiber is hollow, so it holds more air than the plastic fibers in most diapers. That's why it looks and feels puffier right out of the pack.
It sits higher
The waist is cut higher than a traditional diaper. We designed it that way for better overnight coverage.
The tab isn't stretchy
The tab itself is a separate biodegradable material, so it doesn't stretch the way the panel around it does. All the give comes from the back cotton panel.

Pull it upPull the front and back panels up until the waistband sits with no bulk at the bottom.

Stretch the backGently stretch the back panel before you bring the sides forward.

Wrap the cottonGrip the cotton side panel, not the tab, and wrap it around the hip. Place the biodegradable tab onto the front landing zone.

Pinch it flatPress the tab flat, top to bottom. No bubbles, no gaps, no wrinkles.
