This Privacy Policy explains how Everyone's Earth, Inc. ("Change Diapers," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit changediapers.com (the "Site"), buy from us, subscribe, or otherwise interact with us. Please read it alongside any other notices we give you at the point we collect your information.
The short version
- We collect what we need to sell and ship you diapers, run our subscriptions, answer your questions, and market responsibly.
- Our Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from advertising and analytics partners, including Meta and Google.
- We also use a visitor identification and data enrichment service. It can match some visitors to a name, postal address, or email address held by third party data providers, even if you never fill out a form. We explain this in plain language below, and you can opt out.
- We do not sell your personal information for money. Some of our advertising practices count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain state privacy laws, and you can opt out of those at any time.
- We only send marketing email and text messages to people who signed up for them.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, password, and account preferences.
- Order and subscription details: what you bought, sizes, delivery cadence, order history, and returns.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processors. We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details such as the card type and last four digits. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications: emails, texts, chat and support messages, product reviews, survey responses, and anything you send us.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site we and our partners automatically collect:
- Device and browser information, operating system, screen size, and language.
- IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Pages viewed, products viewed, referring URL, search terms used on the Site, time on page, and clicks.
- Cart and checkout activity, including items added and abandoned.
- Identifiers stored in cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies.
Information we receive from third parties
- Our ecommerce platform, payment processors, shipping carriers, subscription and customer support providers.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, which tell us how our ads and campaigns performed.
- Data providers that supply demographic and household attributes and contact information, including through the visitor identification service described in Section 3.
- Social media platforms, if you interact with our pages or ads.
2. How we use your information
- To take, process, ship, and support your orders and subscriptions.
- To create and manage your account and process returns and refunds.
- To send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and subscription reminders.
- To send marketing emails and text messages, where you have signed up for them.
- To personalize the Site, measure what works, and improve our products and content.
- To run and measure advertising, including showing you ads on other websites and apps, and building audiences of people who resemble our customers.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
3. Cookies, advertising, analytics, and visitor identification
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to run the Site and the checkout, plus cookies for analytics, personalization, and advertising. Where required, we show a cookie consent banner so you can make your choices. You can also set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though parts of the Site may stop working correctly if you do.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. These send Meta information about your activity on the Site, such as pages and products viewed and purchases made, along with identifiers that can include a hashed version of your email address or phone number where available. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show you ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can control the ads you see and the data Meta uses in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Google remarketing tags. These collect information about how you use the Site so we can measure traffic and campaigns and show you our ads across Google's network and partner sites. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.
Visitor identification and data enrichment
We use a third party visitor identification service on the Site. This service places a pixel that collects the device, browser, and activity information described in Section 1 and attempts to match it against contact records maintained by third party data providers. Where a match is made, we may learn identifying and household information about a visitor, such as name, postal address, email address, and general demographic attributes, even if that visitor never submitted a form or created an account.
We use this information to understand who visits the Site, to measure our marketing, and to build advertising audiences on platforms such as Meta and Google. We want to be clear about two limits we place on it:
- We do not add identified visitors to our marketing email or text message lists. Marketing messages go only to people who signed up for them.
- We do not sell, license, or transfer identified visitor records to anyone else.
You can opt out of this identification at any time by emailing info@changediapers.com with the subject line "Opt out of visitor identification," or by using the opt out described in Section 6. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, including our ecommerce platform and hosting provider, payment processors, subscription billing, shipping and fulfillment partners, tax calculation, customer support, email and text message providers, and analytics and identification vendors.
- Advertising partners, including Meta and Google, so we can measure and target advertising. This can include sharing hashed identifiers such as an email address so a platform can match you to an account.
- Affiliates within the Everyone's Earth family of brands.
- Professional advisors, law enforcement, and regulators where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- A buyer or successor in the event of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
5. Email and text messages
We send marketing emails and text messages only to people who signed up to receive them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can stop text messages by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about orders and subscriptions you have placed.
6. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted or cross context behavioral advertising.
- Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do this.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it, and appeal a decision we make on your request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics cookies and the visitor identification service described in Section 3 may be considered a "sale" or a "sharing" for cross context behavioral advertising under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and similar state laws. To opt out:
- Email info@changediapers.com with the subject line "Do not sell or share my personal information."
- Reject non essential cookies in our cookie banner.
- Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt out request for the browser that sends it.
How to make a request
Email info@changediapers.com or write to us at the address in Section 11. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by asking you to confirm information we already hold, such as an order number or the email address on your account. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We respond within the time the applicable law allows.
7. Children's privacy
We sell products for babies and children, but the Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit at checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the Site and our products, and after that for as long as we need it to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute resolution requirements.
9. Third party sites
The Site links to other websites and services we do not control, including social media platforms. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before giving them your information.
10. International visitors
We are based in the United States and our service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on approved transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Changes and how to contact us
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated where the law requires it.
