Why we built it
For more than 60 years, the disposable diaper has been built from plastic. In nearly every one, what touches your baby's skin is plastic, and the Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) that holds the wetness is made from petroleum. Plastic does not breathe the way cotton does.
We did not want to fix one part of that and leave the rest. So we started with cotton, everywhere it touches your baby. Then Everyone's Earth developed a Super Absorbent that is not made from fossil fuel. The result is a diaper built to help stop diaper rash, made to perform as well as, if not better than, a traditional plastic diaper.
What we make

- Cotton where it
touches your baby.The top sheet, leg cuffs, ears and outer cover are 100% cotton. The cotton is cleaned mechanically, not bleached. - A new
absorbent core.Tiny beads of the world's first and only biodegradable Super Absorbent, mixed through the core. They pull wetness in and swell into a gel when wet. The Super Absorbent has been independently tested by a certified third-party lab to biodegrade.
No fragrance and no lotion.
Change is made with biodegradable components, and we are working on the last few small parts, like the elastics and adhesives. Every component is listed on what is inside a Change diaper.
Where it is made
Change diapers are assembled in the United States, using US grown cotton. Read more about where our cotton comes from and how it is tested.
Who stands behind it
The Change Pediatric Team is a group of pediatricians and dermatologists who have reviewed the diaper and put their names to it. We do not pay them. Their backgrounds and their own words are on their page.
